A mustard seed of hope

What is hope? I found the answer lying on my bed, long into my recovery process from a terrible car accident that caused me serious injury and ended the life of my wife Anna. I had a choice, and that’s when I realized what hope is. Hope is a choice. If I have faith in God’s love, it gives me hope, and hope can lift, encourage, and put a man’s feet back on the floor to stand up and take another step forward in the strength He freely gives to us, if we’ll receive it.

Transformation of Wongo town

by Desmond Johnson Wongo town is found at the eastern part of Freetown, Sierra Leone, on a mountain approximately 1000 feet high.  The two thousand people who live there were until recently all Muslim.  Before the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone there were no churches or schools in the community.  Wongo town was severely affected by Ebola with an average death rate of four or five persons per day.  The Transformation team were able to…
