Over 30 leaders and entrepreneurs came together this past Saturday, September 15, 2018, to take part on the Global Impact Leadership Institute Certification, held at Humber College. In a full day of insights and self-reflecting exercises, coaches Giovanni Donoso, Jenny Carreño and Bernardo Riveros, brought their passion and years of experience to motivate leaders to tap into their strengths and vision; and revealed key concepts to avoid common mistakes made by most entrepreneurs.

“We have decided to do one certification in Spanish, as a way to give back to the Hispanic-Canadian community, but we will be announcing the next certification soon, which will be for the English-speaking community” said coach and entrepreneur Bernardo Riveros.

The event received a 100% positive response in the “I would recommend this to a friend” section, in a survey given to the attendees at the end of the day.

Later that same day, the GIL Awards Event 2018 was launched. A networking event where like-minded leaders gathered to connect as they celebrated and acknowledged the hard work and positive impact of the 2018 Transformational Leader Award Winners, Derk Maat and Mauricio Ospina, in the community. Mr. Maat and Mr. Ospina are both leaders who have added value to the community, and who are always looking for opportunities to be involved in projects that bring transformation to our society, and enhance our culture system. The event was filled with excitement and great insight from each of the award winners, whom later had an opportunity to share their views on transformational leadership, as well as the ongoing and future projects they are working on.
